November 26th. 2015 – Today was a very exciting day for our students!
The annual turkey feast, new to several of our students, was enjoyed by everyone. Preparations for the big day went on all week starting with our eldest students making the corn bread muffins followed by the lower elementary students baking their favorite pumpkin desert and of course our Primary children making the delicious apple sauce. The rest of the menu included tangerines, carrots, ranch dressing, tator tots and turkey. A special thank you to our families that provided us with the cooked turkey’s and tator tots. The children were mixed in all the different classrooms and were joined by the entire staff. Before the children began to eat their lunch, 5th level students read a message of thanks and I believe all adult eyes teared up.
School will resume on Monday, November 30th. December events include Language Education Night on December 8th from 6-8pm and the ever popular Pajama Day on the 18th.
