CMS Walk-A-Thon!
Wednesday, 12/9 will be the last day for donations to count towards the students incentives. If you have done a donation with your company match program (and have not let us know yet), please let us know and we will count that towards their amount.
We are very thankful for all of our amazing students, wonderful families and all our sponsors for helping to make this fundraiser a huge success!
On Friday, 12/11, we will recognize the student who was our top fundraiser by letting them silly string Ms. Corrales, and all the top earners of each class will be able to silly string each of their respective teachers. Don’t worry about missing this event, we will take a lot of photos and post on social media!
Winter Break Child Care
CMS will be closed for Winter Break, December 21 – January 1. Child care MAY BE available December 21, 22, 23, 28, 29 & 30th – we need to have a minimum number of students signed up each day for it to be offered.
If you would like to sign up please email Susan at susank@countrymontessori.org to let her know which days you would like and if you will need half-day (less than 5 hours – $25) or full-day (over 5 hours – $45). Child care is open from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm. In keeping with our COVID-19 policies and procedures, arrival times remain the same during downtime with 7:30-8:40 being the window for drop off.
Please let her no later than Friday, Dec. 11th! We will then let you know that day at noon if we are going to have Child Care available.
Holiday Safety and Advisory Travel
As we approach the holiday season, many families may be planning to travel or get together with friends or relatives outside of their immediate family. We understand how important these connections and activities are during the holidays. As you make your plans, please keep in mind that following all relevant county, state, and national guidelines relating to gatherings and travel can help prevent you and your loved ones from getting sick. This means that it’s important to wear a mask, wash your hands, and practice physical distancing wherever you go, and stay home if you are sick.
It is imperative to keep an open dialogue with us regarding illnesses and travel, thank you! We are all in this together and want to keep our students, families, staff and school healthy to the extent possible.
CMS Illnesses Protocol
Please notify the office if your student will not be in class or is sick. Should your child be sick all families need to inform the office and we will provide further mandated guidance. When our students are sick we want them to rest so virtual class is not permitted during illnesses.
