Jose, as a reminder CMS will be closed on Thursday April 4th and Friday April 5th and the following week for Spring Break (April 8-12).
Please let Susan at susank@countrymontessori.org know if you would like to sign up for child care full-day $50. Please note that arrival times remain the same, with 7:30-8:40 being the window for drop off. Due to scheduling and staffing – drop in’s are not allowed. Child care is open 7:30am- 6pm.
| CMS Summer Camp Summer Camp Enrollment is open. We still have a few spots for week 3 (Ocean Camp) for early childhood – all other early childhood camps are full. Elementary summer camps are filling fast. Summer is a smaller program and we know that it will fill up. We will not be able to accommodate everyone. Summer camps will start on Monday, June 17th and run through Friday August 2nd. |
Parent Teacher Conferences April 4 and 5th are parent teacher conferences. This is a special time for you to meet with your teachers and hear about their school experience. Report cards will be available on April 3 on your parent portal. If your conference is before that date, you will receive an email with your students report card prior to your meeting. Conferences will be done via Zoom and your teachers will send you the link prior to your conference.
CMS 25th Annual Auction & Dinner
Save the Date!! We are excited to have our 25th Annual Auction at the The Heights Golf Club in Rancho Bernardo, May 4th from 4-7pm. We hope that you will be able to come join us for Hors d’oeuvres, Dinner, Bar, 50/50 Opportunity Drawing, Silent & Live Auction items, and our Wine Wall. Attire is dressy casual. The event will be for the whole CMS family!
This is our last fundraiser of the year, and it is rapidly approaching. We are eager to begin our call for classroom basket donations and community outreach.
Classroom Basket
Each year, The Classroom Baskets campaign promotes a fun and easy way for families to get involved by helping support CMS. We are asking families to contribute to their child’s classroom basket. All donations will be used to create themed baskets which will be auctioned at the event. Each classroom has a different theme for their basket:
- Dragonflies – Food & Beverages
- Ladybugs – Crafts & Hobbies
- Bumblebees – Beach Day
- Eagles – Family Night
- Owls – Adventure, Travel & Sports
Our goal is to collect enough donations to create classroom baskets for each of the themes. All donations for the classroom basket can be dropped off in the office or with your classroom teacher. Please put your name on the item donation so we can keep track of all our wonderful family donors.
