Campus Updates
Thanks to our generous families with our two annual fundraisers (the Walk-a-thon & Annual Auction), we are going to break ground and install new turf starting on August 3. It will be ready to welcome everyone for the start of the 2024-2025 school year on August 19th.
New Families – Set up FACTSMgt (RenWeb) Access
💻 FACTSMgt RenWeb Parent Portal – If you are new to CMS, set Up FACTSMgt and your (RenWeb Parent Portal) access. To do so:
1.) Please use the following link; click here.
2.) You will select Create New Family Portal Account.
3.) Enter your email address, and the district code is CO-CA.
4.) Once you create your family portal account, you can see the school directory and access the RenWeb portal, where you will find report cards and other relevant school information.
Downtime Child Care
CMS will be closed August 5-16th. Child Care will be available Wednesday, August 7 – Friday August 16th. 7:30am – 6pm.
Please let Susan at susank@countrymontessori.org know if you would like to sign up, full-day is $50. Please note that arrival times remain the same, with 7:30-8:40 being the window for drop off. Due to scheduling and staffing – drop in’s are not allowed. Deadline to sign up: Wednesday, July 31st.
✔️ Acchhhooooo!!! 🤧 Please do not send your student to school with symptoms or if they are not feeling well 🤒 If your student has a fever, is vomiting, has diarrhea or is on an antibiotic they may not return to school for 24 hours and must be symptom free.
Please have your child stay at home for the following:
Runny noses
Wet cough
Vomiting – Students need to be vomit free for 24 hours (without medication)
Fever – Students need to be fever free for 24 hours (without medication)
Tired/Not feeling 100% – We want our students to feel well while at school
Diarrhea – Students need to be diarrhea free for 24 hours (without medication)
All illnesses need to be reported to Susank@countrymontessori.org

Arrivals & Dismissals
☀️ MORNING ARRIVAL PROCEDURES
Please stay in your cars 🚙 and wait for a teacher to come to get your student to ensure the safety of our students and prevent traffic on Monte Vista Road.
Elementary Student Morning Drop Off (1st -5th Level Students)
When: 8:15am – 8:30am
Where: Curbside – If there is no room on the curb please pull into the parking lot to avoid backing up the traffic on Monte Vista Road. Please stop 🛑 at the crosswalk and wait to be moved forward.
⏳Running Late and Arriving Before 8:40am? 🏃
+ Drive through to the parking lot
+ Please stop 🛑 at the crosswalk and wait to be moved forward
+ Your student will be marked “tardy”
Early Childhood Students (Ladybug, Bumblebee & Dragonfly Students)
When: 8:15am – 8:30am
Where: Two Lanes in Parking Lot. Please stop 🛑 at the crosswalk and wait to be moved forward.
+ Please do not get out of your car, your teacher will take your student from the car
+ Please take a right hand turn only out of parking lot ➡️
Those with Early Childhood AND Elementary Students
When: 8:15am – 8:30am
Where: Curbside – unless it is full then use lane 2 or 3 for drop-off. Please stop 🛑 at the crosswalk and wait to be moved forward.
✌️👋🏻 DISMISSAL PROCEDURES
Half Day Dismissals
When: 12:30pm
Where: Please pull up in front of the office. Walk to the front office gate to pick up your student.
Early Childhood Students (Ladybug, Bumblebee & Dragonfly Students)
When: 2:30 – 2:45pm
Where: Please use 2 lanes and stop at the crosswalk and wait to be moved forward and your student will be brought out to you.
+ If the parking lot is full please use the curb and your student will be taken to you.
Elementary Students (1st -5th Level Students)
When: 3:00pm – 3:15pm
Where:
+ 1st-3rd level students will be dismissed in the parking lot using 2 lanes.
+ 4th and 5th level students will be dismissed from the curb
Please stop 🛑 at the crosswalk and wait to be moved forward.
Those with Early Childhood AND Elementary Students
When: 3:00pm
Where: Follow the Elementary student pick up procedure
🛝 MORNING & AFTER SCHOOL CHILD CARE
Morning Child Care
When: Every morning from 7:30-8:00am
Where:
1.) Park your car in a parking spot and wait outside the front gate with your child
2.) A teacher will greet you at the gate.
3.) *Parents using morning child care should be at the gate with their student no later than 8:00am.
4.) The teachers from all classrooms get their students from child care and escort them to their classrooms at that time.
* Families arriving at 8:00am will not be admitted and need to join the arrival line for 8:15 arrivals.
After School Child Care
When: 2:45pm – 6:00pm
Where: Please park your car in a parking spot and go to the child care gate and your child will be brought to you.

📝 Please Sign In and Sign Out every day when you pick up and drop off through the CMS App. Click HERE to get the CMS app and use the Daily Sign-In or Daily Sign-Out when you pick up and drop off from school.
🕰️ Attendance & Tardiness – All students should be in class by 8:30am.
+ Daily attendance is taken each morning and recorded.
+ Absences and tardies will be reflected on the students report card and we discourage excessive tardiness and absences.
⏰ Late Arrival Procedures
1.) If your student arrives late to school, you need to park and accompany them and wait outside the office in the enclosed area.
🅿️ Parking – For visitor parking please use the spots in front of the school. The parking spots located by the dumpster are reserved for employee parking.

🤕 Head Injury Policy – In the event of an injury above the neck;
1.) CMS calls the student’s parents to inform them of the incident
2.) Parents may be required to come to the school and check out the student
3.) The student is monitored until the parent comes to school. If the staff member notices any changes to the student’s condition, 911 will be called and the parent is immediately called to let them know.
4.) Upon arrival of the parent, a decision is made to take the student home or leave them at school.
