School Pictures
Sumner Photography has sent your child(s) picture proofs via email. Please click on the link to view the photographs taken. Please choose a photo for the yearbook by February 10th, even if you are not going to purchase any photographs. If you did not receive an email please check your spam folder, or if you need help on their website, please contact Sumner Photography Customer Service Department at help@sumnerphotography.net or 800-440-2002.
If your child(ren) were unable to take pictures on picture day, you can still have them be included in the yearbook. I will be sending out more information to those parents next week with detailed instructions on how to include them.
Valentine’s Day
Your classroom teachers will be reaching out to you regarding Valentine celebrations. Due to the restrictions, Valentine exchanges will not take place this year. The teachers are planning fun activities for that day that will include crafts and a special snack.
President’s Week
CMS will be closed for President’s Week, February 15-19th. Child care MAY BE available 16, 17, & 18th – we need to have a minimum number of students signed up each day for it to be offered. In light of COVID safety measures, anyone interested in child care, must register ahead of time. Please sign up no later than Wednesday, Feb. 3rd.
If you would like to sign up please email Susan at susank@countrymontessori.org to let her know which days you would like and if you will need half-day (less than 5 hours – $25) or full-day (over 5 hours – $45). Child care is open from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm. In keeping with our COVID-19 policies and procedures, arrival times remain the same during downtime with 7:30-8:40 being the window for drop off.
We Are In This Together
It is imperative to keep an open dialogue with us regarding illnesses and travel. We are all in this together and want to keep our students, families, staff and school healthy to the extent possible. Please let us know if you plan to travel or if anyone in your household has been exposed to, has COVID or has symptoms.
Please notify the office if your student will not be in class or is sick. Should your child be sick all families need to inform the office and we will provide further mandated guidance. When our students are sick we want them to rest so virtual class is not permitted during illnesses.
